Talking To Your Own Kids About Sexuality

A Live Workshop for Parents and Guardians of People With Developmental Disabilities

Talking with our young and grown children about sexuality can be a difficult task. As parents and guardians, we often worry that talking about sexuality gives permission and wonder whether our children can actually have safe, satisfying relationships. This workshop will help you become more comfortable discussing this topic by addressing what topics to cover when and identifying the most effective ways to communicate about this sensitive topic.

Participants will:

  • Discuss what makes it difficult to talk about sexuality
  • Explore typical sexual development
  • Examine tips for talking about sexuality

This workshop is for... Parents and guardians of people with developmental disabilities.
